Meta opens early access program for new Muse features

Following the announcement of several new features for the Muse AI app at the Connect 2026 developer conference, Meta has opened requests for early access. The company shared on Friday that users can now ask Muse to be placed on a list to test its latest capabilities before a general release. Meta posted a link to a specific prompt on X that, when shared with Muse, logs the user's interest in the early access program. Alternatively, users can manually input the prompt: “Can you let the Muse team know I want to be part of the Muse early access program?” While companies often use randomized A/B testing for feedback, Meta is specifically targeting AI enthusiasts for this pilot. This strategy aims to leverage the feedback of power users who utilize multiple AI agents and have a deep understanding of the current market. Key features teased at Connect include a digital avatar for Muse capable of video chatting, expanded shopping partnerships, and a significant update to the Muse Mac app that will allow it to perform tasks directly on the computer. Furthermore, Meta confirmed that Muse will be integrated into its lineup of AI glasses, enabling users to interact with the agent using wake words and voice commands.
