Apple Unveils New iPad Mini with OLED Display; Preorders Open

Apple has officially unveiled the eighth-generation iPad Mini, marking a significant upgrade for its smallest tablet. Announced earlier this week alongside new MacBook Pro models, the device introduces OLED technology to Apple's miniature slate for the first time. The forthcoming iPad Mini boasts an 8.5-inch OLED display, making it the largest screen ever featured on the Mini, while paradoxically being both thinner and lighter than its 2024 predecessor. Powering this compact powerhouse is Apple's new A20 Pro chip, promising enhanced performance and efficiency. While the diminutive tablet is set to hit shelves on November 6th, eager customers can already secure their unit. Preorders are currently open through major retailers including Amazon, Walmart, Apple's official store, and other authorized sellers. The new iPad Mini is available in multiple colors, with prices starting at $699.
